You will be working for one of the world's leading professional services organisations. This firm has a presence in over 100 countries so is well placed to support its clients that are some of the most successful businesses on the globe as well as its tenacious entrepreneurs. This company delivers tax, assurance and financial advisory services to its clients - you will be working in the Financial Services Tax division.

As a Financial Services Tax Manager, you will face a broad range of consultancy issues relating to both direct and indirect tax, transfer pricing, international structuring and employment taxes in the banking and capital markets. By proactively assisting the management of a portfolio of clients, this will expose you to a diverse mix of clients from the retail, commercial, investment, private and custody banking sectors. This will require you to take initiative and involve yourself in business development activities. One of the key elements of this position is that it is predominately project based and you will play a lead role in these complex endeavours - having to coach and mentor more junior members of staff. Your own reporting line will be directly to the Senior Manager.

In order to apply for this role you will:

* Be ACA/ATT/CTA qualified, or the equivalent.
* The ideal candidate will have tax experience gained in the financial services sector, preferably banking. Individuals with banking experience who have a desire to work in tax would also be advantageous.
* Have exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively.
* Be confident and possess the natural aptitude to self-develop and motivate.
