Award winning independent business in Maidstone is looking for a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to support this busy team and ensure smooth, effective invoice processing. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this interesting role will have responsibility for a team of 3, ensuring deadlines are met, the workload evenly distributed, queries resolved.

In addition to supervising the team, the Purchase Ledger Supervisor will also be hands on with the purchase ledger responsibilities. This is a full cycle role that will include processing a high volume of purchase invoices, payment runs, month end close.

Detailed duties include;

  • High volume purchase invoice processing
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Problem solving
  • Dealing with queries
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Supervising the team to ensure deadlines are met
