Global shipping company based in Central London is currently recruiting for a newly qualified Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who's recently qualified looking for their next challenge.
Reporting into the Financial Controller your main responsibilities would include producing company management accounts pack; process monthly accruals, prepayment and depreciation journals; monthly balance sheet reconciliations; create yearly and half yearly budgets for the overall company; overseas Branch returns nominal ledger entry and oversight; ad-hoc projects as requested.
The successful candidate would be a newly/recently qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA). Previous experience of management accounting along with knowledge of Excel is essential. Good communication skills are needed to present findings to finance and non-finance staff.
