We are currently working alongside a highly professional and progressive firm of accountants who are seeking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper on a permanent basis due to significant growth and demand in this particular area of their services.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Bookkeeper who has either worked in an accountancy practice environment previously, or who has managed their own portfolio of clients more recently.

You will be joining a firm who encourage and support personal development, as well as offering the chance to maintain a work-life balance.

Main duties:

• Responsible for the provision of bookkeeping services for a variety of clients, ensuring that all records are accurately documented and up-to-date
• Preparing VAT returns
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintain and build existing client relationships
• Dealing with HMRC and processing VAT returns

To be considered for this role you must have experience working within an accountancy practice, with extensive experience managing a range of client accounts.
