An exciting opportunity has become available for a proven Sales Ledger Clerk to join a successful organisation in Leicestershire.

Client Details

My client is a large and well established organisation in the Leicestershire area who have an immediate requirement to recruit a Sales Ledger Clerk into the team on a temporary to permanent basis.


The successful sales ledger clerk will have the following duties;

Interrogate completed work flows and raise daily invoices
Ensuring clients receive all supporting information required to support invoice claims
Ensure the timely payment of outstanding accounts
Chase outstanding accounts by telephone and letter
Investigate and resolve in depth queries on accounts
Ensure any queries/disputes are recorded on the computer system and resolved in a professional and timely manner
Ensure that sales ledger records are accurately maintained
Allocate payments in accordance to customer's remittance advice minimising the level of un-allocated cash
Maintain good relationships with customers, Account Managers, and other departments within the company


Previous exposure in a similar role
Great attention to detail
Able to work well under pressure dealing with high volume of invoices
