A large food production company are looking to take on a temporary purchase ledger clerk due to company expansion.
Key duties include (but are not restricted to):
*Match stock invoices against goods received note.
*Process high volume of invoices quickly and accurately through the financial ledger.
*Take calls and emails from suppliers to resolve any queries / discrepancies on a timely basis.
*Provide processing and reconciliation support to the stock purchase ledger team.
*Ensure that filing is undertaken on a timely basis.
*Take telephone calls on behalf of the finance team when required.
*Ad hoc tasks and support as required by the needs of the department.
The idea candidate would demonstrate the following attributes:
*Experience in a similar role.
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
*Ability to prioritise workload.
*Ability to work under the pressure of deadlines.
*Good interpersonal skills and experience of working in a team.
Due to the reputation of the client this role is with the demand is likely to be very high, don't hesitate to apply.
Although this is a temporary three month contract there is scope for the role to turn into something more permanent.
