Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for a Corporate Accounts Assistant to join our Finance team.


Within this role you will be responsible for the processing of Accounting transactions, Financial Administration and the maintenance of our Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions for Greystar’s Corporate Business. Day to day, you’ll support with the preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, quarterly VAT returns, and manage accruals, prepayment and journal postings.

Working with Corporate Finance colleagues, you’ll also assist with the audit process and respond to external audit queries and assist in enhancing current finance processes and controls in place.


This role is ideal for someone with a passion for Real Estate and an interest in a building a career within Real Estate finance. In all likelihood, you may be recently qualified or studying toward an accounting qualification, such as ACCA/CIMA.

Experience in accounts payable/receivable support within a busy, fast paced and professional environment is essential, along with an understanding of accounting procedures, standards and compliance requirements. You will also possess strong numerical, data entry and excel skills; along with experience using accounting systems would be an advantage. Experience working within the property, hospitality, retail or leisure sectors is desirable.

You’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to build positive relationships; and love to work collaboratively within teams as well as independently, with initiative, to achieve results. You’ll have a high attention to detail and a talent for process improvement, great organisation skills and a flexible approach to allow you to work successfully in a rapidly changing environment.
