A large business based near Southampton, that is easily accessible from Fareham and Portsmouth, is recruiting a Project Accountant to provide dedicated financial management and support to a number of key capex projects.
The key responsibilities of the Project Accountant include:
- Business partnering the project team providing challenge and ensuring financial consequences of decisions are understood
- Controlling and reporting the project costs and financial performance
- Delivering results, analysis and commentary to the project teams
- Providing commercial and financial input in to business cases
- Ensuring strong controls and minimising risks on projects
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with experience of working in a similar project accounting, business partnering or commercial finance role gained within a large company environment.
