The Role

Working alongside the Managing Director you will be responsible for strategic financial recommendations and support in line with commercial objectives, optimising the company’s financial performance and strategic position & supporting / challenging financial decision making across business areas. You will also be responsible for leading a small number of direct reports from Finance and Operations - coaching and developing those teams to grow and meet objectives.

This position is also responsible for hands-on day-day company finances; coordinating corporate finance, managing company policies, leading the team through month end, year-end & annual budgeting.

About You

You will be a motivated Finance Manager with a background in aligning financial strategy and commercial objectives. You will be a hands-on manager, not afraid to get stuck in with the team when required. You will need to be a qualified accountant, with an enquiring mind and have a passion for innovation and business growth.

This company would also consider newly qualified accountants with a couple of years in recognised brands - looking to move into a smaller company for a role with larger scope.
