Management Reporting Accountant
We are currently recruiting for Management Reporting Accountant at our site in Brackley, Northamptonshire
As a Management Reporting Accountant you will provide Commercial and Management Reporting across the Avara Foods business
Main Responsibilities of a Management Reporting Accountant
- Reconcile Monthly Management Accounts with Financial Accountant (which includes multiple entities).
- Own the key schedules and provide framework for Monthly Pack with overall responsibility for consolidation and presentation of output to include base reports for Monthly Chicken, Turkey & Duck
- Own the Monthly Submission into Cargill Financial Reporting ensuring that monthly estimates are reconciled for quarter-end submissions
- Produce the Quarter-end reporting pack including set schedules for Shareholder Board Meetings
- Provide MI for External Reporting requirements
- Produce Shared Services MI for Budget holders
- Ensure all internal MI is kept up to date on Sharepoint
- Ownership of Monthly Sales analysis & commentary (vs Budget and Forecast, YTD, YTG as required).
- Ownership of the production of forecast revenue plans for Chicken S&OP providing analysis and insight to key stakeholders in the S&OP process
- Provide forecast revenue & customer terms deduction information for cashflow purposes
- Ownership of ORD and Terms on the Balance Sheet for management accounting and audit purposes
- Review and investigate retailer claims as required
- Maintain audit integrity for all customer terms balance sheet accounts & provide timely customer trackers
- Work with the Reporting Analyst with responsibility for base NPV, Customer Margin, WBE reporting
- Support the BI team on testing and work with Operations Finance on reporting improvements
- Provide ad-hoc analysis as required, particularly for the Sales & Commercial functions
As a Management Reporting Accountant It is essential that you have either ACA, CIMA or ACCA part qualified with good analytical experience. Excellent working knowledge of Excel being highly proficient in deciding what formulas should be used and their application i.e. VLookups, Data Sorting, Pivot Tables. Good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office packages i.e. Powerpoint / Word / Office. Conversant and comfortable with different computer systems
You will be able to communicate effectively as this role will interact across the wider Foods business and all levels of management. Have excellent analytical skills and possess good presentation skills. It is also essential that you are able to multi task while maintaining priorities and meeting deadlines.
