Assistant Accountant

SF Group are recruiting an assistant accountant for our education sector client on a temporary basis. Ideally you will be immediately available or available on short notice. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a post that will see you have a wide remit in a progressive organisation. Responsibilities will include; analysing project reviews, looking at spend projects and supporting various projects across the organisation. Your remit will also include exposure to management accounts and month end duties. Furthermore you will be assisting with budget settings and forecasting and be able to monitor detailed reports.

The successful candidate will be ACCA/CIMA part qualified or equivalent and have the ability to hit the ground running with minimum supervision required. Ideally you will have good experience within a charity, not for profit arena and have excellent motivational skills. You will recognise the need for diplomacy when working in a busy team and how to get the most out of each of your direct reports.
