Assistant Management Accountant

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a enthusiastic, proactive Assistant Management Accountant who is keen to join a reputable and rapidly expanding manufacturing business in an exciting, newly created Assistant Management Accountant role. The ideal candidate will be an analytically minded and experienced Assistant Accountant, who is actively studying early to mid stages CIMA/ ACCA or a minimum AAT Qualified.

Reporting to the FD, responsibility will include assisting with month end management accounts and management information, KPI reporting, price and costings, balance sheet reconciliations, margin & cost analysis, stock accounting, bank postings and reconciliations, VAT, intrastat, and European tax.

You will also support the Financial Director in developing controls and streamlining the processes. Aside from being an experienced Assistant Accountant you will demonstrate a strong technical accounting ability and analytical skills. You will be highly PC literate and will enjoy the challenge of investigating, problem solving and partnering operational teams to drive efficiencies. You will be able to offer a hands on approach to your work and will be able to pick up the duties quickly working with minimal supervision.
