Senior Business Analyst

We seek the services of experienced Business Analysts for our Fed government client in Canberra.

The services will include and not be limited to:

• Mapping current and future-state business processes;
• Identifying and resolving complex process design issues across project or business functions, outside of immediate area of expertise;
• Guiding business stakeholders through the transformation journey and help them envision how their functions and processes will change;
• Facilitating design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution;
• Facilitating requirements gathering workshops;
• Facilitating negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders;
• Coordinating testing activities including User Acceptance Testing (UAT);
• Creating, analysing, and validating detailed design specifications;
• Writing user stories;
• Deliver projects in alignment with the Department's processes and methodologies;
• Delivering elements of systems design, including data migration rules, business rules, wireframes, or other detailed deliverables.

Mandatory/Essential Criteria:

• 5+ years' demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst;
• Experience eliciting requirements from stakeholders;
• Experience documenting system requirements;
• Demonstrated experience running stakeholder workshops;
• Extensive and recent experience working on projects delivered using Agile methodologies;

The client requires that the candidate be an Australian Citizen and hold a valid Baseline Clearance prior to commencement.
