ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT– BIOTECH / LIFE SCIENCES / MED-TECH

BASED LIVINGSTON – to £21,000 FTE PER ANNUM PLUS BENEFITS

PART TIME AND PERMANENT

Based in Livingston, our client is a well-known and high successful life sciences and medical device business. From their GMP design and manufacturing site in Livingston, the company supports medical and life science products in a range of markets. The business is going through unprecedented growth in terms of demand, output and new staff. They are now looking to recruit a Part Time Accounts Assistant to work in the Finance department. Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger experience is critical for this role.
Skills required:

Previous experience in a similar type role / environment
Experience of managing the Accounts Payable ledger
Proficient in the use of Sage 50 or Sage products
Good knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and supplier statement reconciliations
The ability and willingness to learn new procedures in accounting
Sound written and verbal communication skills Please note this role will be offered on a part time basis working in friendly team in an open plan office environment. Ideally you will be available to work between 16 to 24 hours per week – the company can be flexible and agree with you on the hours per week that will work for you. You can work the days and timings to suit you which makes this a very attractive, flexible and family friendly career opportunity. Car parking is available on site.

Alongside the challenge and excellent job security and development, the chosen candidate can expect a good base salary of £21,000 (FTE) a performance related bonus, inclusion into the site wide profit bonus and pension scheme.
