Description

The Futures Sales Trader reports to the Head of Futures and will have oversight of:
Increasing & broadening revenue stream - diversifying the account base and advising clients of futures trading
Establishing a significant share of the customer's business relative to the competition, focusing on priority business
Creating additional revenue opportunity by virtue of account relationship
Achieving a Trusted Advisor capacity with all of the decision makers within your key accounts
Connecting customers to other people within the Firm in an effort to institutionalise accounts
Balancing product knowledge with understanding of the customer's needs and limitations
Accurately executing client orders and managing the trade books
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES (wording my need to change depending on seniority of position/management from completed PD)
Comply with the ethical standards contained in the Code of Conduct
Adhere to firm policies and procedures, regulatory and legislative requirements
Qualifications

Business/Industry knowledge/competencies
Experience in Futures business and track record
Strong analytical market analysis and risk management capability
Business-driven individual willing to work on the business holistically
AFMA - ongoing educational requirements and determined by the industry

Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy and time management skills

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Undergraduate degree in Finance or Economics or other commercial/analytical disciplines
Minimum of 3 years Sales experience in a similar Trading position
