Project Accountant

3 month temporary Project Accountant role for well-known, large company. £23-26ph.

A well-known public sector organisation based in Liverpool are looking to recruit a temporary Project Accountant on a 3 month basis.

Your new role
Reporting into the Finance Director, you will be responsible for documenting financial procedures for a wide range of accounting processes. You will work with users to draft, test and finalise procedure guides. Following a large transition, the company are seeking to review several guides covering; AP, AR, Treasury, VAT, Budget setting and other services. The successful candidate will work with users to draft, test and finalise the guides.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have strong experience of documenting and developing accounting processes for finance and non-finance users, experience of VAT and Corporate & treasury accounting. Knowledge of Orchard system or Open accounts is desirable. It is essential that the successful candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and will follow companies values and behaviours. You will be AAT qualified or equivalent.
