Payroll Specialist - Cork Our client is a large multinational firm based in Cork. They are looking for a number of Payroll Specialists to join their team. Role Responsibilities: · Process payroll including adjustments on a monthly basis · Maintain payroll records with regard to absenteeism · Respond to inquiries from management and employees regarding revenue issues, holiday accrual, overtime, and other related issues · Work with other Payroll/HR staff to improve the accuracy and efficiency of payroll procedures · Participate in projects as they arise Key Experience and Skills required: · 3+ years' experience working in a busy payroll department · Experience with UK and Irish Payroll a must · Ideally IPASS or similar payroll qualification but not necessary · Intermediate level of Microsoft excel and word · Goal orientated with a proven track record of consistently meeting strict deadlines · Detail orientated with the ability to detect errors as they arise and resolve problems effectively · Highly organised and task focused with a proven track record of getting things done · Will have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as within a team · Excellent communication skills
