Finance Manager
I am exclusively recruiting for this hugely exciting role for a hands on Finance Manager who can take on this stand-alone position and own it.
You will be either, a qualified by experience, passed finalist, newly qualified or qualified, Accountant who is more than comfortable with taking the accounts through to trial balance and must have the gravitas to be able to liaise with the company's external accountants to provide any further detail that they may need to complete the statutory accounts and Tax requirements.
This is an SME sized business under £3m t/o, therefore you must be prepared to be fully hands on in this position which offers a wide variety of duties including but not limited to;
• Preparation of quarterly management accounts and reports for Management.
• The day to day management of sales & purchase ledgers including multi-currency purchase invoices
• Managing and processing the monthly and year end Payroll
• Day to day credit control
• Cashflow forecasting, budgeting
• Financial planning
• Assisting with the company's strategic planning.
• Completing multiple monthly bank reconciliations
• Preparation and submitting quarterly VAT returns
• Managing the company pension
Ideally you will have experience of a similar type of role in commerce and industry, or it could suit someone making their first move out of an Accountancy Practice.
Experience of collating, preparing and interpreting reports, budgets, accounts, commentaries and financial statements will be highly advantageous to your application, as will working knowledge of multiple company accounting with multi-currency and inter-company activities.
In return, you will be well remunerated including a company pension, flexible working across a 37.5 hour week, 25 days holiday and being located in the beautiful city of Bath, walking distance from the train station.
Interviews will be taking place asap and the business are looking to appoint in September.
