about the job
  • Facilitate the identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation and monitoring of operational risk in the assigned areas
  • Conduct root cause analysis and benchmarking to recommend improvement of our control processes and business operating models
  • Formulate the internal control assurance plan
  • Review Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) to identify key operational risks and effective mitigation actions/ measures
  • Review risk events/ incidents and customer complaints with regulatory and compliance concerns


skills & experiences required
  • Bachelor's degree holder in Business Administration, Accounting or related discipline
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience looking at SME or commercial banking business - operations control, risk management, internal control, or in internal audit
  • Knowledge of business banking practices and regulated banking activities - ideal
  • Strong understanding of regulatory / risk framework under HKMA
  • Good interpersonal, influencing and project management skills
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Chinese languages
