The key responsibilities of the role include:

Principle point of contact for Northern Trust asset managers clients taking performance, risk and compliance services by delivering a high quality service by offering day to day support and ensuring continued client satisfaction.


Responsible for delivering high quality Performance Services to Asset Management Clients within the terms of the SLA.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Producing client's performance attribution reports that will be delivered to clients on a monthly or quarterly basis.

• Manage client relationships on a day-to-day basis by taking an active part in understanding their performance reporting requirements.

• Producing client's performance attribution reports that will be delivered to clients on a monthly or quarterly basis.

• Responding to client queries for ad-hoc performance analysis that needs to be conducted within terms of SLA.

• Communicating with clients on a regular basis responding to issues, researching reporting problems and discussing performance analysis reporting capabilities. Service review meetings will be held on a regular basis.

• Work closely with the relationship management team and wider NT partners on all mutual clients (corporate actions, income, transitions)

• Understanding of client objectives, investment strategy, and general investment issues

• Support Sales and Marketing efforts by providing technical expertise, attending presentations and meetings when appropriate.

• Participate in continued product development of performance measurement capabilities and subsequent implementation into ongoing client deliverables

• Sustain high level of Northern Trust systems, investment instruments / markets and market trends in performance measurement and risk

• Works with the Bangalore Team to ensure operational processes and efficiencies are maximized
• Participate in training initiatives for clients and internal partners

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Able to manage client relationships effectively
• A willingness to learn about performance attribution and new concepts within finance
• Knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments and portfolio management
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to think critically and analyse problems independently
• Capable of working well within a team
• Highly numerate
• Good time management and prioritisation skills
• Able to meet deadlines
• Maths/Economics/Finance or any other numerate background at university
• Comfortable using sophisticated software
