people2people are collaborating with the NSW Government who are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to work on an initial 6 week assignment located in Liverpool
This role requires you to call upon your experience and judgement to plan and accomplish tasks and goals.
You will be compiling amounts owed to vendors, suppliers and other organisations Gathering purchase orders, charge slips, sales tickets and more Maintain payment and transaction records Process and verify applications for payment on overdue accounts, whilst compiling information from banks and financial institutions Keeping record of delinquent accounts, incomplete files and credit risks ABOUT YOU To be eligible for this role you must have: Strong experience in Accounts Payable or similar role Familiar with standard concepts, practices and procedures in the field Ability to think laterally Accuracy and attention to detail To apply for the role, click the appropriate link on this page or call David Collins on for a confidential discussion
