Interim Financial Analyst

You will be working with the MD of this Manufacturing business with some travel to Germany required 1x per month for a few day.

My client is a Manufacturing business in Newport with a subsidiary based in Germany.

Description

Working closely with the MD of this Manufacturing business, you will act as a "Project Accountant" undertaking a full review of the subsidiary business based in Germany.

You will undertake a "deep dive" of the Accounts and client base of the German business in order to provide detailed financial information which will help the business conduct more accurate forecasting on a monthly basis.

This role will involve speaking with staff on site in Germany, so ideally you will be able to speak German, however this is not essential.

There will be travel required to Germany 1x per month for a few days to work with the staff to implement new processes and procedures.

Profile

Ideally you will be a qualified Accountant, however this is not essential.

It would be desirable that you are a fluent German speaker but not essential.

You will have excellent analytical skills and be able to understand complex excel spreadsheets and manipulate the data to extract the relevant information.

You will be able to travel and stay away 1x pm for a few days.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to influence staff at all levels and in different countries.

Job Offer
