Regulation, Compliance and Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) protects the integrity and reputation of Deutsche Bank. It manages the Bank's risks and help to avert unintentional rule breaches and conflicts of interest. At the same time, we also advise the bank on ethical conduct and governance issues and keep the bank up to date on regulatory and political challenges. Position Overview

Key Roles and Responsibilities
The AML Transaction Monitoring QA Manager's responsibilities include working within the existing AML team to:
  • Perform local AFC quality assurance on transaction monitoring alerts closed by level 1 or level 2 alert reviewers in accordance with the applicable transaction monitoring standards and guidelines.
  • Provide meaningful feedback for level 1 or level 2 alert reviewers to enhance alert review quality and for purpose of performance appraisal.
  • To discharge relevant duties under the Global Assurance Programme and to ensure adherence to the required standards.
  • Assist in the maintenance of the Singapore or entity-level AML policies, procedures and Global Assurance programme documentation relating to transaction monitoring, as well as the annual Risk Analysis and the coordination of updates to Regional-Global AFC.
  • Develop and review TM QA methodology
  • Prepare and submit MIS relating to Alert QA and Global Assurance Programme.
    Key Skills required
    • Excellent technical AML experience, and demonstrated hands-on experience
    • Understanding business divisions such as Corporate Investment Bank and in particular Wealth Management, and their risk profile.

      Educational Qualifications and Experience required
      • Degree qualified
      • Relevant AML or related certifications (desirable)
      • (CAMS, CFE, IntDipAML)
      • 6+ year's relevant experience.
      • Work experience in a financial institution, preferably in a quality assurance role or transaction monitoring.
      • Good understanding of AML risk and a background in controls related functions
