Our Client, an independent Accountancy Practice which has been established for 20 years, is looking for an Accountant to join the established team. With a real emphasis on personal service and customer satisfaction, the company specialises in providing accountancy services to small to medium sized companies, partnerships and sole traders. Providing a full range of accounting services to include annual accounts, bookkeeping services, payroll and tax advice throughout the Worcestershire area.

Duties will include:

• Preparation of annual accounts / Financial Statements
• Preparation of Trade Profit / Loss Computations
• Preparation of Corporation Tax Returns, VAT Returns, Self Assessment Tax Returns and all relating Computations, Companies House CS01 Statements and general other Companies House matters
• Regular general tax advice to clients
• Regular discussions and meetings with clients
• Utilising IRIS Practice software and Sage software

Suitable candidates will have:

• Significant Practice experience, at least 4 years
• ACCA full or Part Qualified ideal but not essential
• Strong financial accounting systems and legislative Financial Reporting Standards experience and knowledge
• Excellent planning and analytical skills
• The ability to work autonomously and prioritise workload in alignment with the business priorities
• A proactive attitude and have the confidence to gain credibility across the practice
• A strong Customer Focus with the understanding that the customer is priority
• A strong desire to succeed and develop the growth of the business

The company offer a welcoming, supportive working environment. This is a permanent, full-time role working 37.5 hours per week.
