Small but quickly-growing Educational Trust requires a finance systems expert for a short contract to help develop their Accounting Systems. Due to quick growth, and numerous remotely managed business units, our clients' IT solutions are not being used to best effect, nor are the remote business units using the same solutions. We require a person with highly developed IT skills and knowledge of accounting (though you don't necessarily need to be a Qualified Accountant) to help:
- standardise the software used,
- implement controls and introduce common reporting formats to improve the consistency of reporting from business units to Head Office
- develop Head Office consolidation and dashboard reporting capabilities and generally review the use of technology to ensure better use of existing IT resources.
You will be used to an SME working environment and have a 'hands-on' approach. You'll have implemented at least one accounting software and will be a strong user of SAP BO and of Excel. We expect this assignment to be for approximately 3 months.
