We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Accounts Analyst to join our fast-growing finance team. The main purpose of the position is to assist in the day to day accounting function within the central office. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join our professional accounting team within a dynamic and fast-moving industry. This role is cross-functional with significant internal and external exposure. The continued growth of the Group is anticipated to create opportunities for the right individuals in Central Office and the wider Group. This is a permanent full-time position and the successful candidate will report directly to Group Fixed Assets Finance Manager. Job description Administration and ownership of the fixed asset registers for the allocated portfolio of properties Preparation of monthly depreciation journals and other related month end journals Preparation of fixed asset registers for internal and external stakeholders Tracking of capital expenditure spend per project and per property Review of open POs, not receipted invoices and WIP for the allocated portfolio of properties Reconciliation of all creditor's and bank accounts Preparation of payment runs and bank reconciliation of payments to suppliers Following up on all creditor's related queries in a timely and professional manner Ongoing financial analysis, identification of variances and implementation of corrective actions to prevent repeat incidences. Monitoring, tracking and driving cost reduction for the business. Performing reviews to ensure appropriate action plans raised to drive effectiveness. Carrying out any other accounting duties and ad hoc request as delegated by Management Requirements Previous fixed asset or capex expenditure experience is a pre-requisite Previous accounts payable experience is a desirable 3rd level education and/or accounting technician qualification desirable Strong computer and analytical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel Excellent attention to detail; time management skills and ability to work under pressure Experience with Data Analytic tools would be an advantageous Our Culture As Ireland's largest hotel operator, we successfully operate the Clayton Hotel & Maldron Hotel brands throughout Ireland & the UK.
