Page Personnel are working with a well known business based in Trafford Park. The role is initially for a period of 12 months, however there is opportunity for a longer term role for the right candidate.

Client Details

An expanding business are recruiting an Assistant Accountant to join their team initially on a 12 month FTC basis.

Description

As an Assistant Accountant, you will report into the Financial Controller, responsible for assisting with the efficient production of monthly management accounts.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: support management accountant in preparation of accounts; balance sheet reconciliations; accruals and prepayments; journals; analysis of information; KPI analysis.

Profile

The successful candidate will:

  • Have recent knowledge of working in a similar role - Essential
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
  • Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
  • Be working towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA - Highly Beneficial
