High profile Financial Modeller role with leading Bristol Financial Services business, intended to analyse operational data to create better understanding and drive the business.

My client are a Bristol-based Financial Services business.

Description

You will:

• Work under the supervision of the Chief Executive Officer
  
• Develop, deliver and implement financial models and financial modelling tools for a range of different propositions.
• Be responsible for providing good quality, timely financial modelling advice to the business, in a way that non-specialists can readily understand
• Recommend financial strategy
• Update financial models during periods of change and following business actions.
• Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion at all times when dealing with sensitive information
• Be responsible and accountable for own personal development i.e. prepare and actively operate personal training/development plans
• Assist in the preparation of Board papers as required
• Support any other finance or business initiatives as needed.

Profile

• Strategic understanding of business and how different financing structures can add value
  
• In-depth understanding of financial modelling and associated tools
  
• Experience of designing, building and populating financial models
  
• Degree level education or above
  
• Excellent IT skills, particularly in the use of excel spreadsheets
  

Job Offer

This role will pay a basic salary of £35-45k.
