My client, a boutique international practice, are looking for a new senior level addition to act as a Senior Accountant/Manager. This positions offers the chance for an experienced practice professional to come in to an ambitious growing firm to build a new team.

As remuneration my client offers modern offices, sporadic international travel and a salary range of £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience.

Duties will include:

  • Acting as a hands on manager for the firms UK clients
  • Providing assistant to other staff including bookkeepers and accountants in our other locations
  • Advising clients on tax, accounting and general business enquiries
  • Eventually get involved in business development for the practice

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in UK accounting or tax experience
  • Qualified Accountant - preferably ACA
  • Proven management/supervisory skills
  • Be able to command the respect of colleagues and clients in the UK and abroad
  • Have strong VAT and Tax knowledge

Beneficial experience and skills:

  • Able to speak a foreign language
  • Familiar with Sage Line 50
  • Knowledge of UK business VISA regulations
