Description
The principal responsibilities of the Senior Compliance Manager based in Bath are:
- To monitor Regulatory change and developments in order to ensure the impact on Auxillis is highlighted and assessed,
- To identify and monitor the Regulatory risks that the organisation faces and ensure these are recorded and assessed,
- Work with and advise internal business partners to design, implement and maintain appropriate policy rules and controls,
- To monitor, assess and report on the effectiveness of these controls in the management of the organisations exposure to Regulatory risks,
- To help Senior Management to identify and resolve compliance difficulties as they occur and act as a functional expert with respect to Compliance matters.
- Schedule, monitor and ensure deliverer of ongoing internal Regulatory training for the organisation, to help ensure awareness of current regulation and to evidence regulatory compliance.
- Acts as the contact point with regulatory bodies, for example FCA, ICO, MOJ,
- Supports the HOGIARA in relations to mandatory regulatory tasks (Reporting, Fees Payments, Regulatory reviews and requests).
Profile
The ideal candidate for this Senior Compliance Manager role based in Bath:
Essential:
- Undergraduate degree
Or
- Having at least 10 years of experience with specific responsibilities for regulatory compliance.
Has worked in a UK regulated industry
- Can demonstrates prior working experience and delivery of expert working knowledge of relevant regulatory environments.
- Has regularly engaged with or presented to Senior Management.
- Ability to travel within the UK, with overnight stays when required.
Desirable:
- Professional compliance Qualifications.
- Membership of relevant Professional Bodies
- Has managed a Compliance team.
Job Offer
