Management Accountant

An ambitious part-qualified or qualified accountant is required to join a growing finance team in a dynamic fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can identify opportunities in processes, develop better ways of working, be able to deal with multiple conflicting deadlines. The business changes quickly therefore this role will be adaptable and offers a huge opportunity for the right candidate.

• Develop Excel models to improve visibility of performance to aid planning, including scenario planning
• Develop Excel budget and forecast models for varying business processes
• Lead the development of a best in class planning function
• Develop and maintain improved controls and governance and continually seek to improve processes
• Own and develop group budget and reforecast cycles
• Own and develop high quality reporting, suitable for presentation to Board level
• Drive the delivery of value added commercial insight to the wider business
• Deliver robust business partnering to key departments in the business

• High calibre qualified accountant, with at least 5 years experience
• Passion for use of technology to drive efficiencies
• Ambitious, hardworking attitude
• Self-starter able to work autonomously
• Confident in presenting to non-finance management
• Highly analytical, with the ability to manipulate and analyse high volumes of transactional data with ease
• Excellent IT skills, specifically advanced Excel & systems knowledge
• Excellent communication skills working with stakeholders at all levels
• Commercial acumen and exposure to and understanding of the global currency markets
