Page Personnel are working in partnership with a national waste management company in Warrington to recruit a Finance Manager. Reporting into the Financial Controller, this role will monitor budgets and expenditure for general ledger accounts, ensure effective procedures are documented and adopted for dealing with all aspects of financial administration, including the checking and processing of all financial transactions and oversee the management of the finance system.

Description
The Finance Manager will have the following duties:
- Managing the Accounts Payable and Receivable ledgers
- Liaising with Heads of Department to reconcile and forecast cost reports
- Monthly finance costs amortisation and depreciation calculations
- Preparation and presentation of monthly financial reports at board level
- Support the annual audit and production of the statutory accounts, including the preparations of various supporting schedules
- Provide monthly forecast information by partnering with Cost Centre Managers
- Track the company's financial status and performance to identify areas for potential improvement
Profile
The successful Finance Manager will have the following skills:
- Be studying towards a professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
- Strong background in a financial role
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work to deadlines both timely and accurately
- Strong Excel skills
