French Credit Controller

This French Credit Controller position in the FMCG sector is based North of Luton (J13 M1) and requires someone with a car. With free parking on site and state of the art offices they are looking or a fluent french speaker to assist the team in collections across their core french market

Description

French Credit Controller Key responsibilities will include:

• Credit control responsibilities
• Raising invoices and chasing debt
• Managing customer relationships to ensure they pay on time
• Account reconciliation, dispute management and maintaining and improving the age debt position
• Posting cash against your ledger
• Managing and reviewing Credit limits for new and active customers
• Payroll coordination and associated month end accounting
• Calculation and coordination of Agents Commissions
• Work closely with other functions (e.g. Financial control, Accounts payable, Customer services) to proactively manage and resolve business and operational issues in an innovative, efficient and effective manner.
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
• General French market assistance

Profile

French Credit Controller Qualifications and experience:

• Some experience or exposure in credit control - ESSENTIAL
• You must speak FLUENT French - all your clients are based in France (Business terminology can be touched up on)
• Excellent people skills with strong ability to communicate with internal and external customers
• Someone who is prepared to be flexible in their role for the benefit of the team.
• Highly driven individual with a hands-on deck mentality
• Methodical approach to tasks who demonstrates a calm demeanour under pressure
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure
• Detail oriented, constantly challenging and verifying numbers, able to deal with complex issues
