An international FMCG business launching a UK business in the Thames Valley

Backed by a global brand our client is looking to set up an office in the UK.

Description

As the number 1 in Finance you are responsible for the set up of all processes and procedures so that the business adheres to required UK laws and can start trading as soon as possible.

This will cover all aspects of Finance including:

- cash flow management

- Management/ financial account preparation

- payroll, Tax

- managing the audit

As the leader of Finance you will liaise with the MD and have a direct line to the international CFO based overseas.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business from inception and be part of its growth.

Profile

The Head of Finance needs to be a qualified accountant with experience gained in a fast paced SME that has grown significantly during your time.

You'll have excellent examples of implementing robust financial control under your stewardship adapting to increasing demand of a growth business.

Ideally, you will have a FMCG or Consumer Durable background and understand the retail landscape in the UK.
