Assistant Accountant

Hays Accountancy & Finance are currently recruiting for an organisation based in Belfast for a Part-Qualified Accountant for a 6 month contract. The salary on offer will depend on experience and range from £26,000 - £30,000. Our client is looking for someone to start immediately however will be happy to wait a few weeks for the right candidate. Your new role As a result of expansion and introducing a new system into the organisation this Assistant Accountant Role has been designed in order to assist the Finance Manager and Financial and Management Accountants with their daily responsibilities. You will undertake duties of the Assistant Financial and Management Accountants in order to free up more time whilst their new system is being installed. What you'll need to succeed Depending on experience the Assistant Accountant will be able to perform jobs across each of the mentioned positions. You will need to be technically sharp in terms of your computer skills: Excel, MS Office and Accounting Packages. You will need to perform an Excel test in order to secure the position. You will also be able to demonstrate that you are exceptionally efficient & reliable and can process complex sheets using your own initiative.
