The Cashier is responsible to provide direct transaction services to customers, assists in the administration of the divisions' cashier office to while delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external customer while maintaining accuracy, integrity and ensure cashier policies and procedures are followed. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Courteously receive all customers and visitors Process daily monetary transactions from customers including cash, credit and debit cards payments. Reconciles transactions on a daily basis. Prepare bank lodgments and update the system on a daily basis. Maintains organized file records Prepare and disseminate reports to Supervisor within set time frames. Preparing, posting and filing daily cash reports Assists with other assignments in the department when requested QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS Minimum Five (5) CXC General Subjects including Mathematics or Accounts and English Language. Minimum two (2) years working experience in a similar capacity. Must be fluent with Microsoft applications Able to work on weekends and Public Holidays. REQUIRED SKILLS & SPECIALISED TECHNIQUES Computer literate with proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Efficient problem solving and time management skills. Excellent quantitative, communication skills. Able to communicate professionally and effectively. Must reside in Bog Walk or close proximitey.
