Temporary Assistant Accountant job in Burnley, Lancashire - Up to £14.50 per hour - Onsite parking

Your new company
Your new company is a growing leisure and hospitality business based in Burnley, Lancashire. As this business is growing, they are now looking to centralise and bring their accounts function in house and implement their own system. Due to this, they are now seeking an experienced assistant accountant on a temporary basis for an initial period of 8 weeks.

Your new role
Your new role will involve you working full time hours between 9am-5pm. You will be working closely with the Group FC where you will be processing large volumes of purchase involves, extracting raw data and uploading this to Sage 200. You will be responsible for a large volume of reconciliation, ensuring the new system is running smoothly and all invoices are entered accurately.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, it would be preferred for you to have a strong working knowledge of Excel and be a confident user of Sage. You should be comfortable managing large volumes of invoices and have an excellent attention for detail. If you have experience of system implementation or involvement with the transfer of systems, this would be preferable. Due to the business need, you will need to be immediately available.

What you'll get in return
In return for this, you will be working with a rapidly expanding business who have grown by 28% over the past 18 months. You will be paid an hourly rate between £13 - £14.50 per hour which is dependent on your level of experience. You will be paid on a weekly basis through Hays and have a dedicated consultant managing your assignment.
