Business Analyst / Data Analyst Permanent role with great benefits and flexibility We are seeking an experienced data analyst to perform impactful analysis, develop and communicate recommendations to shape the pricing strategy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data analysis and data-driven storytelling. This role is for the Fintech client. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for managing multiple concurrent projects with simultaneous deliverables. These projects will provide insight and analysis to support operations, with an emphasis very much on quality of descriptive and pricing data, and enhancements to support our internal and external customers. The principal analyst is expected to support the leadership in all aspects of strategic planning, decision-making, work management and associate development. In addition, this role will provide backup for the senior manager on the floor. You will work in a team responsible for providing accurate and timely reference and pricing data to all down-stream systems and lines of business across trading, operations, and regulatory obligations including customer confirmations and statements. Skills required: *Bachelor's degree or higher in business, mathematics, or computer science *Experience demonstrating increasing responsibilities in a project/analyst role, preferably within a global shared services model *Financial Services industry experience, ideally brokerage. *Experience with reference and/ or pricing data, data management and data analytics *Extensive knowledge of tools and techniques for presenting and analyzing data *Experience in the application of data science tools and methods in a Big Data context *Exposure to Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, or Waterfall Methodologies is desireble *Advanced data handling skills including the ability to work with unstructured data and to create insights that drive strategic business decisions *Awareness and understanding of downstream impacts, workflows and requirements of internal and external business partners and systems applications *Working knowledge of project management principles *Ability to communicate both vertically and horizontally with strong presentation skills *Ability to innovate and understand the importance of process improvement *Your motivation and desire to learn new technologies If this is of interest please get in touch via email Natalia.Merritt at adecco.ie or call on 00 353 (0) 18526950.
