Badenoch & Clark are working exclusively with a market leading organisation looking for a Financial Analyst (Capex) to join their busy finance function.
Working closely with, and reporting to, the Finance Manager (Capex) the role covers areas of capital expenditure driven by their shareholders as well as focusing on the active demand through the optional services processes.
As the organisation moves its focus towards managing its estate there is a growing need to fully understand its key costs and the drivers for continued operational investment. This role is essential in delivering accuracy and understanding that will drive improved cost control and efficiencies
Your responsibilities will include:
*Monthly/quarterly reporting of development and capex costs against forecast & budget
*Variance analysis and preparation of monthly outlooks for development & capex costs to highlight over/under spends v available budget.
*Business Partner across the organisation and with key stakeholders to deliver the Capex Budget and subsequent forecasts.
*Producing the forecast documents for all forecast/planning/budgeting meetings
*Develop models and processes to deliver improved accuracy of reported results and forecasts
*Dealing adhoc queries
The successful candidate will be a finalist/newly qualified accountant with a strong background in financial analysis including an in depth understanding of the Capex budgeting and forecasting process.
You must be able to analyse and understand large and complex data sets and present these clearly and concisely to non-finance personnel.
