Reed Finance are representing a leading distributor and wholesaler, specialising in production and distribution of clothing, and who's core clients include some of the UK's leading High Street and online fashion names.
The Finance department provides proactive support to the business and is central to their continued success. The Finance Manager is required to report into the Director, whilst delivering the day to day responsibilities of the department and is involved in a broad range of tasks across the company including management accounts, business planning and forecasts, cash flow management, VAT returns and various internal and external reports. They will also be responsible for overseeing a small accounts team.
The successful candidate will be fully qualified, as well as a confident, inquisitive, detailed individual who can add value to the team whilst delivering high quality work, both individually and as part of a team, to deadlines and who has the ability to recommend improvements to existing processes both within and outside of the finance department and is comfortable dealing with finance and non-finance colleagues.
The ideal candidate would have the following experience:
- Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Management accounts
- Feasibility studies
- Project managing
- Business plan
- Intrastat
- Dealing with banks and funding managers
- Knowledge of letter credits
- Gross profit management and controlling
- Sage/Sage Payroll, Excel, Outlook and Word
