Client Details
This international Record Label and music business is a specialist in its field, it has high ambitions targeting growth through acquisition.
Description
Manage the process for consolidating the submissions entities across the Group, to produce a single set of consolidated financial results for the Group, by:
- Performance of Half Year internal consolidation and Year End consolidation.
- Coordination with Group auditor for the year -end audit consolidation.
- Conversation and translation of local currency/local GAAP financial statements to HK GAAP/HK$. Overseeing the elimination of transactions and balances, investments in subsidiaries, etc.
- Ensuring entities complete their submissions accurately and on time (Consolidation trial balance and exhibits, etc).
- Dealing with any issues that arise during the consolidation process.
- Liaising with entities around the world to provide guidance and advice on technical accounting and Group policy requirements
- Producing HK GAAP (an advantage) accounting records for subsidiary companies in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
- Preparation of Half Year internal consolidation and Year End consolidation. Coordination with Group auditor for the year -end audit consolidation.
- Maintain group consolidation chart of accounts, set-up and structure and accounting system (EPICOR experience an advantage)
Group Corporate/Management Accounting/Others
- Preparation of Group Monthly management reporting (Financial and operational reports)
- Budget consolidation and monitoring
- Financial and monthly variance analysis
- Monitoring of report submissions and follow-up
- Monitoring of monthly Intercompany reconciliations
- Monitor adherence to group accounting, policies procedures and practices.
- Aid in the preparation of board/SEC meeting materials
- Develop and recommend cost cutting strategies
- Adhoc reporting and requirements (Corporate governance, restructuring, due diligence, etc.)
Profile
You will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAS)
- Group consolidation / reporting experience
- Statutory accounts experience
- Multi-currency experience
-A track record of pro-activeness and technical Accounting
