Finance Analyst Supply Chain Controlling-(1800348) Description Are you up for a professional adventure in a fast growing international environment? ROLE PURPOSE Provide the site leadership teams of selected EAME (Europe,Africa,Middle-East) CP (Crop Protection) FPP (Finished Product Processing) production sites with operational and strategic finance business partner support For all production sites in scope, provide the stakeholders with variance analysis including month-end reviews, site performance review support and planning of production related financials (latest estimate/outlook and budgets). Budget preparation of manufacturing sites in scope Ensure the robustness and effectiveness of financial controls (SoX Controls) for all operations in scope; ensure compliance with Syngentas standards, in particular the Internal Control Framework (ICF) and the Production & Supply Financial Framework (PSFF) TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide the site leadership teams and regional cost centre owners with financial support and professionally challenge through insightful business analysis in order to facilitate the delivery of excellent business and financial results Pro-actively drive and coordinate key financial analysis and planning processes (month-end- closing, Site Monthly Reviews, business delivery tracking, savings tracking, CapEx tracking, production efficiency monitoring, latest outlooks / estimates, budgets, etc.) in accordance with global procedures and deadlines. Ensure continuity and accuracy in the reporting of monthly results, development of latest outlook and tracking of business delivery Actively participate in month-end-close review meetings for the sites and business areas in scope, highlighting variances against plans and steps to mitigate adverse variances. Ensure findings are communicated appropriately within the organization and identified actions are monitored and followed-up on Support and challenge business cases, including financial evaluation and scenario planning. Ensure quality and robustness of financial evaluation and information of capital proposals submitted to the P&S CAC and the Global Syngenta CAC Actively drive the annual standard costing process for the sites in scope in close collaboration with finance and business teams Continously drive for process improvement to truly leverage the potential of the European Finance Center concept Support Ad-hoc analysis, projects and requests as necessary to enable decision support Coaching and influencing operational stakeholders if needed Qualifications KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE, CAPABILITIES Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Analysis Good understanding of financial statements Understanding of reporting, budgeting, forecasting and planning processes Good knowledge of the Syngenta products and Production cost drivers Sound understanding of key financial concepts, solid theoretical background in finance and accounting Experience in effective communication of financial results to non-financial staff Business facing experience working with multi-disciplinary teams Ability to quickly learn and apply new skills, development oriented Ability to effectively analyze numerical information, present conclusions and recommendations in a clear way Ability to influence business stakeholders Ability to work under pressure while keeping high quality of output Ability to combine attention to details and understanding the big picture Prioritizes actions and ensures appropriate support and resource Manages risk and is able to work with uncertainty Skillfully plans, organizes and monitors performance to meet deadlines EDUCATION Master's degree or bachelor's degree potentially supported with post graduate professional accountancy qualifications (ACCA, CIMA, CFA, etc.) WHAT THE COMPANY OFFERS Challenging and motivating role within a market leading international company An environment where teamwork and collaboration are core values A fast paced, dynamic, innovative, future focused and evolving workplace Development opportunities within the organization (national and international) An attractive compensation package Shape the future organization together Primary LocationHUN-Budapest-Budapest JobBusiness Partnering
