Description
As a Financial Controller you will report into the Finance Director, responsible for the running of the Accounts function based in Wythenshawe.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: control of all company accounting functions and banking including credit control, sales and purchase ledger; journals; bank reconciliations; supervision of a small team; cash flow forecasting; costing and sales analysis; monthly management accounts; quarterly VAT returns; monthly and year end procedures; company payroll.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Have recent knowledge of working in an SME environment - Essential
- Have recent knowledge of working in a varied finance role - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel and Sage - Essential
