Role and Responsibilities:
Monthly performance reporting and commentary on the funds management business including monitoring, analysing and reporting the financial performance against budgets and monthly reforecasts
Analysis, review and reporting of product, customer and segment profitability including the analysis of product revenue and product expense base including expense allocations
The annual strategic planning cycle for Funds Management including the development of the 5 year strategic business plan and annual budget
Maintenance of a transparent and robust management information systems framework including the reporting of financial and non-financial data as well as expense allocation across the business
Development and/or financial support of business cases for new products and strategic initiatives to ensure alignment to 5 year plan
Development of Funds Management contribution to group including updates to the investment community through the annual and interim results announcements, quarterly FUM announcements, annual investor business update and other ad-hoc disclosures as required
Lead the business performance and analysis function for all entities
Assistance with presentations and analysis to support strategy off-sites
Requirements:
Qualified accountant
Several years experience with 3+ years recent experience within funds management
Strong commercial awareness of trends within funds management
Ability to distill complex financial information
Excellent stakeholder management skills with proven ability to present to senior leadership team
