A leading manufacturing business is looking to hire a Senior Financial Accountant to join the corporate finance function and report directly into the Financial Controller.
This is a great opportunity for a first or second mover from practice who is looking for a broad role and join a business where you can progress into different areas in the finance function (FP&A/Commercial).
Responsibilities will include:
Ensure revenue recognition complies to the company's policies
Provide technical accounting training to the business
Preparing cash flow forecasts and other treasury related tasks
Inventory, inventory fixed asset and fixes asset management- including working with supply chain to manage inventory and fixed asset related matters, managing and reviewing inventory, preparing reports for the business and supply chain divisions
Leading the month end process and making sure all deadlines are met
Preparing month end journals
Statutory compliance- ensuring that all statutory reports and fillings are completed correctly
Ad hoc work
Experience required includes:
You must be a CA/CPA qualified accountant
You must have 2/3 years' experience within a similar role (Financial Accountant/Group Accountant)
ave strong communication skills
