I am working for a client that are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to work in a thriving department based in their head office in Manchester. They are a growing, exciting business that will develop your financial career.
Credit Controller Up to £24K
The purpose of your role:
• Must guarantee debts are chased and collected in agreement with procedures and are in line with performance and quality principles set to make the most of cash flow.
• Include the procurement of credit data reports from various online systems, upholding their systems with the correct data
• Highlight risks that can then be managed in accordance with company matrix
• Manage your own personal growth
What you will be doing:
• Efficiently manage separate account portfolio’s
• Precise recording of all messages with debtors
• Classify potentially high risk accounts
• Communicating with the customer and operations successfully
• General organisation on a daily basis
• Credit vet and process new credit account applications using current matrix methodology
• Overseeing and upholding current credit limits for existing customers in line with current mandates
• Managing accounts and orders on hold due to credit issues
• Preserve accurate and up to date customer details and record all details on the system
• Guarantee all transactions and actions undertaken are to settled compliance, legal and audit requirements
• Completing Month End tasks to accounting timetable
• Deliver cover for preparation of daily bank receipts upload and allocations
Key Skills Required
• Minimum of 5 year's knowledge in Credit Control tasks
• Proven track record working magnificently and as part of a Credit Control team
• Establishes a high level of numeracy and literacy skills
• Accomplished in Microsoft office products such as Excel & Word
• Outstanding negotiation and persuading skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Adhering to all HR and Health and Safety policies
• Performance Development Reviews - to participate in the PDR process and to identify specific training
Working hours are Mon – Fri 9 – 5:15
