My client a niche manufacturer of a cutting edge product based in Worcestershire are currently recruited for an experienced Financial Controller.


As the Financial Controller, you will report into the Managing Director and play a key role in the delivery of accurate and timely financial information.

Key responsibilities include;

  • The production of all aspects of business reporting
  • Manage the month end close process
  • Ensure core accounting controls are maintained and improved
  • The production of annual accounts in preparation for audit
  • The production of ad hoc reports
  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
  • Margin reporting
  • Cash flow maintenance and control
  • Management of the business factoring account
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asses Register
  • Calculation of Accruals and prepayments
  • VAT Returns
  • Purchase Ledger processing
  • Back reconciliations
  • Cash flow management and forecasting


The Successful Applicant

  • A Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified by Experience accountant
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong system skills, Sage Line 50 highly desirable
