My client is a well established Not for Profit organisation based in the heart of Cardiff. This organisation are doing really well at the moment and looking to strengthen their finance team.

Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Senior Management Accountant will join a well established and talented finance team in Cardiff.

This diverse role will cover the full range of Operational areas of the business and will provide a high level Management Accounting and Finance Business Partnering service.

Key duties will include;

• Management Accounting: to prepare high level detailed monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Monitoring Reports: to prepare monthly management reports for senior stakeholders in the business.
• Budget and Financial Plans: to assist with the preparation of the organisation's annual budget and future financial plans.
• Finance Business Partnering: Provide a first class support service to senior stakeholders in the business. Work with them on a regular business to insure that targets are met and that they are in line with the business plans.
• Continuous improvement: Continually looking for ways to develop processes and procedures in the Finance department.
• Ad Hoc Projects: Take the lead on projects as required from the business.

Profile

You will be a fully qualified Accountant through CCAB or CIMA

You will have great interpersonal skills and be able to influence senior steak-holders in the organisation.

You will have great IT skills including a high level of Excel.

Substantial experience of Management Accounting in a complex organisation.

Job Offer

Salary c £38000 - £40000
