Markets Product Management, EMEA, wish to recruit an experienced Product Manager based in London. As part of an established Product Management team covering EMEA/APAC, the applicant will be primary responsible for Liquidity Management (Liquidity Direct) in region. In addition to experience and management of Liquidity related services, the applicant will gain exposure to Collateral Management functions, including Margin Management and Asset Segregation.

The products and their development/support can be domestic (UK), regional (EMEA), or global in nature, with clients drawn from a the range of segments, including Hedge Funds, Pension Schemes, Asset Managers, Insurance companies and Corporates. Close understanding and ongoing working engagement with the various Investment Management firms using BNYM Liquidity Direct to help distribute their Money Fund range.

The candidate should be able to develop ideas for product enhancements and/or expansion to other regions/lines of business based on the risk and regulatory environment surrounding the products under development. Coordinates the management, development, and enhancement of products in order to meet operating plan financials assigned to products profitability goals by pricing, developing, selling, and analysing customer sales trends.

Is able to work in collaboration with Sales/Relationship Management, Service Delivery, Regulatory teams, Product/IT Risk, Compliance, Legal, etc. as part of new product development, enhancement, delivery, strategy, and planning. Employs a client-focused, strategic approach to develop the business case for firm offerings in the marketplace through in-depth analyses on client segments, competitive landscape and industry environment. Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of assigned products, the marketplace and client needs to drive product growth/development and maximize profitability across varying stages of their life cycle.

Performs ad-hoc competitive analysis, market research, and regulatory research. Performs technical training, demonstration and develops user guides for clients while also preparing sales materials and training BNY Mellon professionals. Project Management minded.

No direct reports to manage but is able to provide guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed. Contributes to the achievement of multiple related teams objectives and profitability of assigned product(s).

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred. Experience in Product Management, operations, client management preferred. MBA or CFA preferred. Product Leadership Certification preferred. Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business
