Brokerage Credit Controller

Large international brokerage firm based in the City is recruitment for a Credit Controller / Accounts Receivable specialist for their busy Credit control division in the City.

International brokerage firm specialising in equities, derivatives, commodities and oil and gas. Based in the City of London.

Description

Working in a team of 8 and reporting to the Head of Credit Control your duties will be:

• Shared collection of client debt

• Reconciliation of outstanding debt and online access leading to maintenance of cash books

• Weekly reconciliation of bank statements and cash book entries

• Accurate allocation & posting of cash received

• Target oldest / largest debt attributed to individual banks / clients

• Reporting to Credit Committee

• Discuss issues with clients, reason for debt, possible escalation with both our / their management

• Maintain excellent client and internal relationships

• Monthly delivery of invoicing for distribution

• Maintaining monthly filing system

• Liaison between other entities

• Liaising with brokers and clients over brokerage disputes

• General administration duties

• Any other reasonable duties

Profile

You will have previous credit control experience within financial services - preferably within banking, brokerage or insurance.
